The Everlane Day Heel

It’s all the lift and all the polish…..with none of the pain. I received the Everlane Day Heel to try out and tell you what I think.

The Everlane Day Heel. All the lift, all the polish- none of the pain.

What I think?

I *think* I’ve worn them every day since they arrived and I *think* I’ve already ordered a pair in red and would really like the Ivy green “Day High Heel” as well.

In all honesty, these may be the most blogged about, talked about and anticipated shoe in all the land. When these shoes first launched they sold out in a DAY- and then they had a crazy 28,000 person wait list!

The Byline for the shoe: “A heel you can actually wear. All. Damn. Day.”

And that it is, my friends…that it is.

The Everlane Day Heel. All the lift, all the polish- none of the pain.

The Everlane Day Heel is made of beautiful, soft Italian leather that forms to the foot straight out of the box. It’s a timeless, ballet-inspired design, so no toe cleavage or edges that dig into the top of the foot. The back is very comfortably elasticized so there is no rubbing or slippage. It has a two inch stacked heel that offers the perfect amount of polish and elevation to any outfit while still being the most comfortable heel I’ve ever, –and I do mean EVER– walked in.

You will flat wear yourself out trying to find an outfit that these don’t look good with. My favorite way to wear them to date is with ankle jeans and my norm casual attire. When I slip the Everlane Day Heel on, my whole outfit is instantly elevated. Which is why I’ve found myself reaching for them every day. Off with the slippers, on with the Everlane Day Heel and–boom– I’m out the door. When I come home, I’m not kicking them off like I do most shoes because my feet still feel great.

If you aren’t familiar with the Everlane brand, let me tell you they’re an easy brand to get behind.

Their mission is :Exceptional quality. Ethical Factories. Radical transparency.”

The company uses only the finest materials and they break down the TRUE cost (materials, transportation, labor, etc) of every item for you to see on their site. You can even click to see what factory made the item you are purchasing.

Yeah- they aren’t kidding. The quality of the items from Everlane is well tested. I have several wardrobe staples from the brand and they are still going strong after years of wear. I can purchase the red Everlane Day Heel with complete confidence that these shoes will be in my closet and getting lots of wear for many years to come, making the cost-per-wear very low!

The Everlane Day Heel runs true-to-size, comes in 10 colors, and in leather, suede and patent leather. The ones I’m wearing are the “stacked” heel in the “pecan” color, but there are also options for the heel to be the same color as the entire shoe. Like these red ones, I hope to be enjoying soon!

The leather on this looks so buttery soft! I love the color and the low block heel. Is there anything better than that?! I can’t wait to see how you style the red pair. Happy Friday and wishing you a beautiful weekend ahead!
